In reviewing the table and then looking at myself, I
am more the left brain than the right brain.
I am not really that creative but I also think I pull some ideas from
the right brain. I am a very logical
person I like facts and evidence to prove my ideas as there will be no issues
with the decisions I make.
When I was reviewing myself in regards to the list I
chuckled to myself. I have been on this
journey of school for a long time now with some of my co-workers which I have
become very close with and I am sure once they read the post they will say, “Yup
that is sooo Crystal.” It is in regards
to my writing, I believe I have good knowledge of paragraphs and ideas and good
flow of what I am trying to convey but my lack of technical ability lessens my
ideas. I am definitely more right brain
in this matter than left brain. This
was proven when my English professor told me in front of the whole class that I
was basically a “coma lover”… He
actually stated, “Crystal there will be no coma splices in your paper right.” As embarrassing as it was…it still did not
fix my coma splices. The one good thing
I have going is that in my circle of school and work friends I have at my
disposal the grammar queen! Thank you

I like to think that I pull from both as I pull from
both sides and adapt myself to the circumstances. With further investigation into the left and

I did the test and scored (9)left and (8) right! I have noticed depending on what I am doing prior to taking tests or watching the spinning lady depends a lot on where my head is! Hope that makes sense!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link. I scoreded 12 left and 4 right. I have been lovingly called anal. I remember a Theater Arts class I took many many years ago. The teacher gave us large, blank, white pieced of posterboard. He told us to draw anything. I couldn't. The only thing I draw is the typical 1st grade house with a stick family and a sun (or rain). I would have loved to make it a chart and classify the students by sex, age, hair color, etc..
ReplyDeleteGreat link to help me see which side of the brain I use because I am a visual person. I scored 8 on the left side and 7 on the right side. I guess I am pretty even.
